Pawm Pawm was created to help pets and their owners feel good and look good, so the day-to-day poop scooping and leash tugging is a little more glamorous for the both of you.
It all started in the winter of 2024 when my little Ludde cried as he crossed the salted roads. After buying several boots which were either too stiff or disappeared on our walks, I went to my sewing machine to make Ludde the perfect booties which were waterproof and fastened at his ankle. That success, inspired me to design and sew more dog accessories, which led to the creation of Pawm Pawm.
My name is Samantha, but most call me Sam. I grew up in a small town in the south of the US. When I was 19, I booked my first role in a feature film and had the opportunity to move to California. My mom helped me pack up my Mini Cooper and my Yorkie Lila, and I moved to Los Angeles. After being nominated for an award in theatre and having a few minor appearances on TV, I enrolled at SMC. In 2016, I met a nanny working for a Swedish family who traveled to CA for vacation. She introduced me to her boss’ oldest son and it was love at first sight. He joined me at SMC, then after we both graduated university, I followed him back to his home in Sweden and we bought a puppy, Ludvig. Which is where we are today. I’m now a full-time dog mom learning Swedish.
Ludvig, or Ludde, is a rambunctious little beast. We thought we accidentally bought a Tasmanian Devil when he first came home with us. He refused to sleep and chewed through everything that could fit in his mouth. However, he has become a very sweet boy who will not leave my feet… that is until someone makes eye contact with him, then he feels he must run over to say hello. Despite his endless supply of energy, we realised he had a lot of anxiety walking the busy streets of Östermalm, which is why we sell the 3-in-1 Pet Carrier. When Ludde turned one, we moved to peaceful Nynäshamn. Most weeks, Ludde is hanging out with his bf at the horse stables or chasing bunnies on the west coast of Sweden.
